Once I feel good about my name choice, what should I do next?

At this point you could start using your name. You could file for a trademark, and register or negotiate to get the URL. Many users assert their "ownership" of their name with a superscript TM to the upper right of the name.

You could also choose to do more searching, including ordering a "Full Search" from an attorney or one of the several companies that provide this. A Full Search may show you more potential conflicting users, though Naming Matters will have already caught the significant, serious ones; and often we catch examples that a Full Search misses.

A Full Search of one name by one of these legacy search companies, for the U.S. only, typically costs around $700. Many additional countries can be searched as well, with additional fees for each country and each name.
